ALICE CORTELYOU (Everett Lewellyn, William, Peter, Hendrick, Albert, Hendrick, Jaques, Jaques) was b. at Oblong, Ill., Oct. 1, 1888; m. at Oblong, June 22, 1910, James Brown McKnight, who was b. at Oblong, Ill., Nov. 2, 1886, son of Robert Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Brown) McKnight. Robert Henry McKnight was b. in Kentucky, Aug. 2, 1857 and m. near Oblong, Ill., about 1880, Mary Elizabeth Brown, who was b. in Crawford Co., Ill., Aug. 8, 1860. James B. McKnight is a banker. He and family reside in Oblong, Ill.
