Our last event was the Fall color Cruise hosted by Warren Witzman.  It was a small group, but the colors where great.  The trip took the cruisers into Minnesota past the Channel 19 towers, down to Hokah, Brownsville, New Albin and finally Lansing, Iowa.  Another nice cruise by Warren!

The club has had several shows during the late summer and early fall months this year.  At the Sand Dollar Days, Sue Olson took home a first place trophy and at the Octoberfest Car Show Don Stritmatter was awarded a trophy ( Sue did get more points that Don after all was counted ).

From the Secretary,

I know that some of you wonder when the club is meeting and where, or what is going on with the club.  No further meetings are planned at this time!  Why?  As I pointed out in a newsletter earlier this year, your participation was needed in the events that were planned, and except for a very few die-hards, that did not happen.  It was an embarrassment for the Ford and Mustang Club and the club officers who represent its’ members.  A suggestion was made by one club member to return to the old style of meetings at Syl’s Place in Barre Mills.  I hope these few sentences will light some of you on fire and generate responses to Sue.  In today’s world of cell phones and computers it had to reason the lack of communication that existed in 2007 was within the club.

It is with great regret that I withdraw my membership from the Ford and Mustang Club in order to focus my time on other organizations which I belong to.  You are a great bunch of Ford fans and I will miss you all.

I, too, with regret, am withdrawing my membership from the club. This is a GREAT club. Thank you to those who did take the time to respond and to come to the events.

I'll miss you all.

Good luck guys.

Boo
