~~Central Wisconsin~~

Last fall we moved from Appleton, WI to Brandon, WI. Not a huge move, only about an hour drive. So I will leave most of the information I have about Appleton up still. Brandon is a nice little town. I believe the population is only a bit over 800 people. So far I really miss Appleton, but we are much closer to family and the boys like that. Tim also likes the smaller towns much better. He is back home. Luckily there is a small library to go to. And a really nice park aobut 2 blocks away. Unfortunately there is no grocery store or anything like that. There are two bars, one cafe, and a gas station. That's all.

Our former home-sweet-home was Appleton, WI. Population about 66,000 people. Growing up in a small town (Waupun, WI population 8,800 and 3/4 of that are prisoners,) then moving to an even smaller town (Necedah, WI population 670,) the size of Appleton is really a dream come true. Only having moved here less than a year ago I'm still not an expert on this wonderful city. I do know that the lovely Fox River runs through the center of town. It is friendly and quiet with life all around it. Its like living in a small communtity with all the pleasures of the big city. I can't think of a place I'd rather be. On this page I have compiled many links to various sites that have lots of information about Wisconsin. If you are living in WI then some of these sites should help you find things to do. If you are planning on visiting or are just interested in the state then you have come to the right place. Enjoy!
