Mashed Potato Pizza
Ingredients
- Pizza Dough/Prepared Pizza Crust
- 3c. Mashed Potatoes (Give or take) Can be either real/instant
- 1/2-1c. Diced Ham/Bacon
- 1/2 c. Kernel Corn
- 1/2-1c. Shreded Cheddar/Colby Cheese
- 1 T. Butter
Pre-bake pizza crust according to directions. Spread mashed potatoes over crust as if it were a really thick sauce, being sure to cover the whole crust leaving 1/4" at edge if its a flat crust. Break butter into many pieces and scatter over potatoes. Sprinkle the ham/bacon and corn over the potatoes. Then sprinkle the cheese over the top. Bake in a 350 oven for 15-25 min. or until the potatoes are hot and the cheese is melted. (This depends alot if you have cold potatoes or if they are warm. I usually use instant potatoes that I have just cooked, but if you use leftover potatoes that have been in the refridgerator then the baking time will be a bit longer.)
