Tab's Tator Tot Casserole
1/2 lb cooked ground beef
2 c. cooked rice
2 cans green beans drained (we prefer french cut)
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Tator Tots/ Tator Puffs (you need as many as will cover the top of casserole)
Salt and Pepper to taste
Mix rice and beef on the bottom of a 2qt baking dish. then layer one of the cans of beans, then the cream of mushroom soup, then the other can of beans. Sprinkle with a couple of dashes of salt and pepper and top with one layer of tator tots. Bake covered 350 for 35-45 min. until cooked through. Then bake uncovered for 5-10 min until tator tots are slightly browned.
Serves about 4. For added flavor I like to sometimes add dry minced onion or fresh chopped onion to the meat.
