Liam's Birth Story

I was due on March 17th, 1999. Mom had a slight complication, and was told to stay in bed, or I would be extremely early. Well, my mommy must have done something right because I ended up being so large they induced her on March 14th at 8:00am. She went into it hoping to have natural childbirth like with my older brother. She held out until about 12:00am. After hours of full strength contractions the entire time (when you are induced they are full the whole time vs. natural it is gradual,) with little results (she was only dialated to 2 cm. She gave in and opted for the epidural. "Whew, that was a heaven sent" mom recalls. She was able to sleep, (and so were daddy and grandma.) Then she dialated much faster. She started pushing around 6:45am and I was here by 7:01am! 9lbs. 14os..... good thing mom was induced when she was or she would have had to have a c-section for sure.
