X-mas Puzzle Piece
Ornaments, Lapel Pins, Or Gift Toppers
Reindeer

This is just a diagram, the finished product is MUCH better!
Materials:
3 puzzle pieces per reindeer
Brown paint
2 small google eyes
brown felt or brown fun foam
Hot glue/White glue
Very small black pompom (red if you want it to br Rudolph)
Pin back/Thread for hanging the ornament
**Optional- clear spray varnish/sealer
**Optional- small jingle bells, leaves, or other decorations
Paint the 3 puzzle pieces brown (usually takes2-3 coats to get a nice finish. Glue the 3 puzzle pieces in a pleasing triangle shape. (You have to just eyeball this, since all puzzle pieces are different.) If you'd like a glossy look now is a good time to spray the varnish. Cut out 2 antler shapes out of the felt/foam. (If I use felt I usually reinforce the felt with either another piece of felt glued together or a bit of tagboard.) Glue towards the top in the back of the puzzle deer. Glue on the google eyes and the pompom for the nose. Now attatch either the pin back to use as a lapel pin or you can glue on a loop with the string to hang it on the tree or on top of gifts.
Santa Claus/Elves

Materials
3 puzzle pieces
skin colored paint
pair of google eyes
white cotton balls, felt, or batting
felt the color you want for the hat
black permanent marker
**Optional- clear spray varnish
**Optional- jingle bells or anything that you would like to embelish santa/the elves with
Paint the puzzle pieces flesh colored. Then glue the pieces into a pleasing triangle shape. (You just have to eyeball it.) Now is the time to spray varnish if you'd like to. Cut a hat shape out of the felt. Glue it to the top of the face. Take the cotton, batting, or felt and make a beard and hat brim out of it. Glue it on. If desired you can add a ball at the tip of the hat (or you could put a bell.) Then put on the eyes and draw a "u" for a nose. Affix either a thread loop or pin backing. Now decorate more if desired.
Christmas Tree

Materials
3 puzzle pieces
green paint
pin backing/thread for hanging
**Optional- clear spray varnish
**Optional- tiny pompoms, decorative trims, felt, whatever you want to decorate the tree with
Paint the puzzle pieces (many times it takes a couple of coats). Glue the pieces together to form a triangle shape. Now is the time to spray varnish if you choose to. Affix the loop for an ornament or the pin backing. Decorate the tree, with making ornaments or stars, etc...
