Placemats

Materials

Clear contact paper
Whatever you want to decorate with
(Ex. We like to use leaves that have already changed colors and pictures of family. But anything flat such as old christmas/birthday cards, stickers, magazine clippings, etc...)
Cut 2 pieces of clear contact paper that are the size of the desired placemats. Peel the backing off of one. Stick the objects face down on the sticky part of the contact paper in a pleasing design. Peel paper off of the second piece of contact paper sandwich the objects between the two sticky sides of the contact paper. Trim as needed. Now you have great placemats that the kids help make. Any aged kid would enjoy this project. Its also a great way to save the beautiful works of art and showcase them when company is over.
