As a result of changes in Lions Clubs International By-Laws, which allowed female Lioness clubs to convert to Lions clubs, our club was re-chartered as the San Marcos Bluebonnet Lions with 37 charter members in July of 1992. The San Marcos Bluebonnet Lions Club is a member of Lions District 2-S3. The District of Leaders includes the clubs located in Bastrop, Burnet, Blanco, Caldwell, Comal, Hays, Milam, Travis, and Williamson counties.
