Biohazard Brewing

M.O.O.L.A. (the Malty Orgasmics Of Lower Alabama), Is an AHA (American Homebrewer's Association) sanctioned club. The club covers an area consisting of the southeast area of Alabama, north central area of the Florida Panhandle and the southwest corner of Georgia. The club meets quarterly at a member's home and consists of a pot-luck dinner followed by a homebrew tasting. There are 3 BJCP (Beer Judge Certification Program) judges in the club who brutally offer their opinions to all.

The club is loosely organized and has no dues, treasury, officers, etc.. Like Fight Club, there is only one rule, you must brew at least occasionally. Mr. Beer brewers qualify. Members are expected to bring homebrew samples at least once in a while or a good commercial (preferably rare and new) for the tasting.

New members will be considered as a "New-Guy" and their beers will be referred to as "New-Guy beer". These beers will be judged far more severely than regular member brews until the second or third meeting attended. Depending on when the next New-Guy joins. The New Guy will then join in the criticism of the new New Guy's beer.
