One night I called to Bear to come in and she refused. I could not see her as it was dark and had to go out to try to find her. There she was in the horses' paddock near Sierra Penn-B who was on the forest side of the paddock trying to get in and panicking. As soon as I found the horses and got them in, Bear came to the house. I would have never known they were loose if it had not been for her. She is a most valuable Beagle.
