Students are expected to be courteous and to respect fellow students, the school staff, the library
facility, its furnishings, and the library materials. The library is a place to study, read, write, browse,
and check out books.
No food, drink, candy or gum is allowed in the library.
The Library Media Center's Discipline plan is posted on the wall near the U.S. Flag and reviewed
with students at the start of the year and as needed during the school year. The Library Media Center's
discipline plan covers the Library Media Center's rules and the consequences of failing to follow the
rules. It also has a positive component that covers what positive reinforcement happens when the
Library Media Center's rules are followed.
In addition, a written copy of the Library Media Center Discipline Plan has been given to the school
office and the principal.
