EASTER
SUNDAY DATES FROM 2013 TO 2026

Question: What
Day Is Easter Sunday in 2013?
Easter Sunday is considered
by Christians as the Greatest Festive Day of the Year. It is a Day that
Recognizes the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. What is the date of
Easter Sunday 2013?
Answer: Easter Sunday Falls on March 31, 2013.
Why Does the Dates
for Easter Change Every Year?
Answer: During the history of the early church, church
leaders wanted Easter to always occur during the Jewish Passover.
As you may be aware - the
death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ happened after the Passover,
but they wanted Easter to be celebrated subsequently to the Passover. Since
the Jewish holiday calendar is based on solar and lunar cycles, each feast
day is movable, with dates shifting from year to year.
In Western Christian society,
Easter Sunday is celebrated immediately following the Paschal Full Moon.
The Paschal Full Moon varies from March 21 to April 18. As a result, Easter
dates can range from March 22 through April 25.
Western churches uses the
Gregorian Calendar to calculate the dates of Easter, and Eastern Orthodox
churches uses the Julian Calendar. The dates for Easter on these calanders
are seldom the same.

3 Know ye that the LORD
he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture
4 Enter into his gates with
