To help to inform you of some of the Activities and progress at the Ranch, we now recieve a monthly report from the Ranch Manager, and we will post it here

SEPTEMBER 2005

Mowing and preparing for the Fall Campout
The name of the property has changed! it will now be--
MO-KAN EAGLE PARK AND YOUTH CAMP
Roofing is still ongoing
Tractor and bailer sold and approval by the board to buy a new smaller one W/loader.
The house needs new siding
Several of the buildings have been painted.

MAY 2005

May has slipped right on by, and speaking of which you may have forgotten
your tax deductable donations to the Ranch..
Name change? Consideration of  changing the name of the Ranch to something like--
MO-KAN EAGLES PARK AND YOUTH CAMP.
Last chance to get the kids signed up for Summer Camp.
Boys camp July 10th thru 16th.
Girls camp July 17th thru 23rd.
Please get registration in NOW.
Eagle Hall roof is 95% finished.
Clean Up after campout.
Fence removed from Hay Barn. Thanks Greg Leonard.
Hosted Cub Scouts, followed by the next week Boy Scout.
Preparation for June 1st Girl Scout Twilight Campout.
To date nearly 300 kids have used the Ranch Facilities.
Yes Rick, I have mowed the grrass, mowed the grass, mowed the grass.

APRIL 2005

Well, it's a green greetings to you, Now on to the other activities.
Beatty Hall - installed bathroom doors with the help of Delvin Chubick
Repaired water leak.
Installed new shower in south bathroom.
Spring cleaning for the Campout.
Double Door refrigerator in Eagle Hall repaired, thanks to Ralph Roby.
New handicapped friendly entrance poured on front of MO-KAN building, Thanks Dick, Paul, and Ladies Aux. 3770.
Repaired RV water service by dump station.
A great big thanks to Springfield for their generous donation.
Thanks to Gary Stevens and everyone that helped with labor and donations on the roofing of Eagle Hall.

MARCH 2005

Report for March is missing.

FEBRUARY 2005

2nd. Major water leak in main house.
3rd-6th was spent in Paducah, Ky.
Junior league baseball team practiced and had a fitness 
Program in the MO-KAN building most of the month.
Prepared for Ameri-Corps visit. They will be here till Apr.8th.
24th Repaired water lines in Eagle Hall.
26th. Hosted Boy Scout banquet in MO-KAN.
27th. Ameri-Corp arrived. A very nice group of men and women.
28th. Repaired water lines in laundry room.
Got lots of things to do before Spring Campout.

JANUARY 2005.

Not much to report. Lots of snow and bad weather.

DECEMBER 2004

Somewhat an uneventful month outside of a water pipe breaking in Eagle Hall.
Replaced heater fan motor in Eagle Hall.
New shut off valve on water line in Eagle Hall.
Preparing equiptment for Spring.

NOVEMBER 2004

3rd & 4th.  Yes I did, I mowed grass
8th thru 10th. Prepared Beatty Hall andVFW Hall for winter. Drained water lines.
11th & 12th. Installed new door on Shower room.
15th. Spent the day with Missouri Conservation checking timber and timber growth.
17th & 18th. In contact with Aquila for used poles and cross timbers to use for landscaping. Was sucessful.
Jack Frost made his appearance.  Lots of rain. As cold weather has come upon us, I have slowed down like honey.

OCTOBER 2004

1st thru 3rd. Rental to  Penecostal Church Revival
4th thru 6th. Clean-Up after Revival
7 & 8  Still mowing grass.
11th thru 13th. Plumbing repair.
14th & 15th. Preparing for Crane Company Picnic.
18th & 19th. Clean-up after Crane Picnic.
20th - 24th Preparation for South-Central Regional Conference.
25 & 26th. Slept.
27th - 30th. No show from Jack Frost - Back to yard work.

SEPT. 2004

1st. & 2nd. Started off sorting the many items donated by Cash & Dash.
3rd. & 4th. Mowing grass with the help of Delvin Chubick, Aerie Secy, Nevada.
6th. 7th. & 8th Burning old hay. Installing new gas lines to Eagle Hall and Laundry Bldg.
9th & 10th. Preparation for wedding reception in MoKan Bldg.
11th. District 6 meeting in Springfield- Wedding reception.
12th thru 23rd. Cleaning all buildings. Make new curtains and repainting in Eagle Hall- and I helped the wife.
22nd. Mowed grass with the help of Larry Lippert.
23rd. My wife and I spent our 37th. Anniversary with final preparation for the Fall Campout.
24th. 25th. & 26th. Fall Campout.- Had a great time. Thank you to Joplin and Nevada for the wonderful entertainment.
27th. Started Cleanup for revival happening on the 1st. 2nd, and 3rd of Oct.

AUGUST 2004

2nd, 8th, 9th, 11th, 16th,17th, 22nd, and 23rd, was dedicated to mowing due to Mother Nature.
3rd and 4th Roofing.
5th. Fixed water leak in VFW bldg.
6th, and 7th. Roofing was finished on the South side of Eagle Hall, and on to Sedalia for State Picnic.
10th. Bladed driveways.
12th Cleaning around Lake.
13th and 14th Cleaning up after roofing project.
18th thru 21st, Cleaning around Barns.
24th and 25th. Did some painting.
26th and 27th. Cleaning in Mo-Kan bldg.
28th State Board Meeting
29th. Took a day of rest.
30th and 31st. Removing items that were donated from the Cash and Dash.  Lots of good equiptment for the Ranch.

JULY 2004

June 28th thru July 3rd. Girls Campout.  Got to do a lot of cooking and cleaning.
All had a good time. Now we are into July and Mother Nature has blessed us with a lot of rain, 
keeping the grass green and growing.  "Thanks Mother."
4th - 6th. Cleaning up after storm.
6th.-7th. Clean up VFW Hall.
8th and 9th. Mowing grass.
10th- 13th. Working in game room.
14th and 15th. Working on roof Eagle Hall
16th and 17th.  Mowing grass.
18th.  Greeted 15 Boys for camp. Back to the Kitchen for cooking and cleaning.
18th thru 24th.  Boys campout.
Activities included - Wiener roast, Day at Pool - Fishing - Football - Day at the Zoo, and I'm tired.
25th - 27th Cleaning up after Boy's Campout.
28th thru 31st.  Blessed with more green grass. Got to mow and roof in between.

JUNE 2004

1st and 2nd.  Mowed grass.
3rd thru 5th.  Girl Scout Camp.
3rd thru 8th.  Death in Family.
9th and 10th  Mowed grass.
11th.  Worked on electrical in Beatty Hall with Mark Scott.
13th and 14th.  Mowed grass again.
15th. Resealed showers in Beatty Hall.
16th thru 21st..  Cleaned interior of Beatty Hall, -washed down walls and floors.  Cleaned screens, shutters, and floors of VFW hall.
22nd and 23rd.  Mowing again, Weed eat, and trim sidewalks.  New phone line installed account storm.  No cost to Ranch.
25th, 26th, and 27th.  Began stripping and reroofing Eagle Hall.  18 Lodge members present to help.  Mark Scott, Eldorado, Al Turner, 
Springfield were also present.  Lunch was prepared by Aerie and Auxillary.
27th. Greeted 7 Girls for Campout.

MAY 2004

3rd thru 17th.  Cleaning, painting, papering, cleaning carpets, patching holes in walls, and replaced front door knob on the house.
17th. Moved into living quarters.
Mowed grounds three times.
Painted Bar-H sign  at Highway 54.
Painted posts and wheels at front of Ranch.
28th and 29th.  Campout for 4H.
28th. Met with Ozark Trail Chapter of Boy Scouts @ Country Club for possible Scout Jamboree @ the Ranch.
Have contracted hay to Bob Bryant and Gene Blurchell for $3.ºº a bale.
Started cleaning utility room beside laundry.
Working on faucets in Beatty Hall.
