of heavy bluestone, tightly fitted and mortarless.The outside bluestone
chimney has rich hues and a tinted grout. Stone hips are slabs of random
slate. |

two fireplaces were constructed
back to back, with
two flues in one chimney. The inside fireplace is done in local fieldstone
and the outside fireplace is coursed ledgerock. The family spent their
first dinner in their new house sitting around the outdoor fire; we received
