Ameristep makes this blind which works for a wheelchair. There are several different models but this is the one I use. It has worked well as it's easy to set up and if you put it in the woods a few weeks before you sit in it, the deer walk close.

The intention of this web site is to share the design of this crossbow to help others find archery solutions for their disabilities. The converted crossbow cannot be purchased from this site.
The converted crossbow is a result of several years of trial and error. It has been used for many years, by different individuals. They have all had success shooting archery and/or bowhunting.

These bands are about the thickness of a handkerchief when dry, but they're filled with beads that expand and hold water. All you need to do is soak them in ice water and they work great to keep you cool on the hot days. I use one myself because my MS is really sensative to heat and they work great.
Cost is $5.00 apiece plus $1 shipping. You can contact Carol by email.
This is a unique design as they go with high quality recurve limbs and shoot harder and faster than many compound crossbows. Excalibur crossbows guarantee that every crossbow they produce is capable of shooting groups of 3" or less at 25 yds. It is made for archery hunting and hunters with physical limitations. They also have a very informative forum on their site.

Access to Recreation carries a few very neat looking extreme power chairs that are surprisingly affordable. In addition to the one pictured, they have one with tracks instead of wheels. Options are available such as camouflage, gun mounts, etc.

The Go-Getter™ allows a physically-challeneged person and a friend to roll through the woods and experience the freedom to enjoy the outdoors. This product was designed and built by Jerry Haynes and his son Brady. While they were developing it, Brady threw a tire in the back of his pick-up and blew out a disc which went into his spine, paralyzing him. Brady ended up in a wheelchair at age 17 and has since been helping many disabled people get back into the outdoors.
The Go-Getter™ has been routinely used for the past 4 or 5 years, with great success and acceptance. The Go-Getter™ hooks up with 4 bolts to a four-wheeler; recommended size is 500cc's or more. Approximate cost: $1995.00 (plus S&H. For more info, please call Bob &/or Andi Gibbs at 720-254-4676, or email Bob at elkhuntbob@yahoo.com.

This handicap deer stand was designed to aid disabled individuals to hunt from elevated positions. There are three models to choose from depending upon your ability or not to transfer to a seat. Costs about $2200 plus tax and shipping.

From Rich: "I wanted to create a website where people who were physically challenged could exchange ideas and equipment they had found or created to make life easier for themselves. After my initial injury I was amazed by the prices of products and equipment that were made specifically for persons with disabilities. Some of the same equipment can be found available on regular websites and catalogs at a much more reasonable price. I have also realized in many local communities there are skilled individuals more than willing to help you create something you need or might find useful."
Rich has developed quite a website that includes many adaptations he's come up with. Everything doesn't deal with hunting but he does have things like a trigger adaptation, etc.
The Landeez All-Terrain Wheelchair
The Landeez all-terrain and beach wheelchair was designed specifically to enable people who use wheelchairs to come in closer contact with nature. The Landeez can roll easily over sand, snow, and gravel. Its soft plastic pneumatic tires absorb almost all road shocks for a remarkably comfortable ride.

The Mann Stand is mobilized to a location on the small trailer towed by a 4 wheeler or other means. The stand is balanced on the trailer so it maneuvers easily by hand when detached from the 4 wheeler. It only takes a few minutes for the setup.
A 12V-DC hydraulic remote controlled motor powers the stand. Once the motor is engaged it only takes a few seconds to ascend to its height. The lower platform line of sight, when elevated, is approx. 16’ and the upper platform is around 20’. When not in use the stand is raised and left in the up position.

I had to figure out a way to use a turkey call with one hand and the mass production ones had very poor sound. These folks helped me out by making a couple tube type calls that I can use without any dexterity. They will custom make them to your specifications.

These are made to work on a backpack but I just received one and it mounted well on my electric scooter. They also have several accessories which would fasten on a wheelchair to carry the phone, GPS, pistol, etc.

A truly portable, easy to use, and sanitary means of human waste disposal that sets up in seconds. The three legged, portable toilet folds into briefcase size, weighing only 7 lbs., yet is the same height as a standard toilet. Special degradable, puncture resistant, landfill approved bags contain a powder that gels liquids, catalyzes decay, and removes odor.

Chad Waliguar says "The first product, a cap with mask combination, I discovered at the Shot Show in Las Vegas this past February. At first glance, it looks like an ordinary camo cap/mask, but all you have to do is put it on once to see the difference. It's the first one I've ever used that you can put on with one hand. The mask material is innovative and allows a hunter to go from using just the cap to using cap and mask in 1 second without having to adjust the mask. It's ideal for people who have limited use of their hands (like me) or those with only one arm. It even has slits built in for prescription glasses wearers."

He can custom build a rifle to fit most shooters. Requests have included lighter weight, short barrel length, custom stock to fit shoulder size, disabilities, a take down rifle for traveling, etc.
Renegade all-terrain wheelchairs are a totally new concept in manual wheelchairs designed for mobility of the outdoor enthusiast without hand to wheel.

Finally a sport where the quad can be competitive. With the SR-77 Shooting Rest and a little practice, you can shoot a three shot pattern as well as anyone. With a mouthpiece or a joystick you control the movement left and right, up and down, and when zeroed in on target, a sip on a vacuum tube will touch it off. The shooting rest is totally hands free and easy to use.
