Getting to Lopez Island

• From Oregon go north on Interstate 5...
• ...or if you are coming from Canada, go south on Interstate 5,
• ...or if you arrived at SeaTac Airport, go north on Interstate 5...

• Continue to Exit 230, Exit for Hwy. 20 (Spur), please note that in Washington the exit numbers are miles from the border, thus in 230 miles from Oregon, you will see Exit 230),
• Go left under Hwy., going West, to Anacortes - 20 miles,
• Make a Left at Safeway (Safeway is in the Right, just after the Golden Arches),(Note: A small sign to the Ferry is one block ahead of the Left turn to Ferry),
• From this point, it is about 3 miles to the Ferry Terminal. Get your ticket at the Terminal Drive-up Booth. Go to Lane #1 and wait for boarding directions. If you are early, they have a coffee shop at the Terminal. The Ferry ride is about 45 minutes long and weaves around some of the islands - get a window seat or sit outside - it’s Great. By the way, the Ferry also has a coffee shop on the top deck.

this is how to get to the Aleck Bay Inn

• Upon arrival at Lopez Island, you drive off the Ferry onto Ferry Road.
• Drive 2.0 miles to center Road. Turn Left on Center Road.
• Continue on Center Road for 5.2 miles, then turn left on Mud Bay Road.
• Head south on Mud Bay Road for 4.2 miles and you will come to Aleck Bay Road.
• Turn Right at Aleck Bay Rd & drive for 1.8 miles, turn left at our sign on to Wren Lane.
• Stay to the left for 800 feet and park in the parking lot.
