Enjoy our serene country and waterfront setting offering a tranquil Northwest getaway designed especially with couples and singles in mind. Surrounding the Inn are 7 acres of meadow and woodland where, deer graze and eagles fly. Guests enjoy the peace and quiet of the farm like atmosphere, yet are only a short distance from fine restaurants, shops, parks, art galleries, and beaches. On Fisherman Bay Road there is Lopez Island Vineyards, producers of award-winning wines. One of the least visited of the San Juan Islands, Lopez Island offers miles of back roads leading through farms and rolling woodlands and a rugged coast marked with steep cliffs and isolated coves. If you are considering purchasing real state here on Lopez, considerable housing is available as well as house vacation rentals, on or near beaches, multi-family rentals are also available from several Real estate companies on the island.

All rooms contain queen sized beds, floral linens, private baths, views of Aleck Bay and the strait of Juan de Fuca, and a complete set of amenities in case you forgot something. Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces, sun rooms, conservatories, TVs and VCR s are additional features of some of our rooms Located in the northwest corner of the continental United States at the head of the Straits of Juan de Fuca, the San Juan Islands are famous for their natural beauty and rugged charm. Lopez Island, the third largest of the chain, is a rural island composed of farms, forest land and 56 miles of shorelines. Residents and visitors alike enjoy frequent sightings of black tail deer, bald eagle, and orca whale in their natural habitat. You will be served a full breakfast - and on extended stays, you will have a different breakfast each day. A large 600 square foot meeting/game room with full view of the bay can be used for meetings, intimate weddings, and such. It is available for your special needs. When not functioning as a meeting room our guests, it is used as a game room (large TV/VCR with popular tapes), table tennis, bumper pool, fireplace, etc.
Adjourning to the formal living room and beyond you are greeted by our "Big Ben" grandfather clock. While seated at one of our game tables you can view Aleck Bay or sit outside on our large deck or. Island activities include bicycling, canoeing, kayaking, gulf, hiking, croquet, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, hot-tubs, a walk on the beach, just appreciating the bountiful wildlife (deer, pheasants, sea otters, seals, eagles, fish, rabbits, whales all abound) and much more. Salmon fishing charters are also available. Aleck Bay Inn is often used as a base for exploring all the San Juan Islands and Victoria too.
