My name is Wendy Roberts and I joined Women on Wheels in October of 2003.  I had purchased my first motorcycle in April of 2003, a 2002 Suzuki Intruder Volusia 800cc, after having been a passenger for almost 20 years.  I have also had my cycle license for that long as well.  I then wanted to find a ladies group to ride with and after searching the Internet, I came across the Women on Wheels website and contacted some local ladies listed on the site.  I went on my first group ride with the group that fall and decided that that was the group for me. 

I love taking off for the day and going wherever the road takes me.  I have learned how to read road maps really well and don't hesitate to take off on a ride.  I have yet to do an interstate ride on my own and look forward to making Montana and Wyoming a destination in the future.
