CAPTAIN TONY'S SALSA

 

Ingredients

**8 ripe tomatoes
**2 sweet onions
***(Valdiala or Wala Wala)
**4 ripe avocados
**fresh cilantro
**1 1/2 Tb. minced garlic
**1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
**4 fresh limes
**salt
  • Chunk tomatoes, onions, avocados and cilantro in 1/2 to 3/4 inch pieces.
  • Place into a large glass bowl in layers.
  • Sprinkle each layer with salt, squeeze the juice of the limes over each layer.
  • Add garlic and balsamic vinegar to each layer.
  • Mix with your hands.
  • Cover and place into the fridge for a couple of hours to serve cool.
Goes great with Grilled Trout!
