Resume
In
the mid-seventies and early eighties I lived in Chicago, Illinois and created
large scale fiber works. I had a one woman show at the Illinois Institute of
Technology (Chicago, Illinois) and participated in group exhibitions in the
United States and Internationally including The Colorado Center for the Arts
(Western Springs, Colorado), The Columbus Gallery of Fine Art (Columbus, Ohio),
Southeastern Massachusetts University (North Dartmouth, Massachusetts) and The
Metropolitan Museum of Manila (Manila, Philippines).
In
1980 I was awarded a public art commission from the City of Chicago in
conjunction with the Austin Public Library Renovation Project.
The
work from this period is represented in numerous corporate collections
including Allstate Insurance Company, Sealy Incorporated, FMC Corporation,
Appleton Memorial Hospital, Zahn Drug Company, Monoma Wire Corporation and Northwestern University.
Publications
included, "Chicago Sculpture," James L. Riedy,
University of Illinois Press (1981) and "The Fiberarts
Design Book," Fiberarts Magazine, Hastings House
Publishers (1980).

Beginning
in the mid-eighties, after completing a Master of Science degree in Mathematics
and Computer Science at the University of Illinois, I spent the next ten years
as a research scientist followed by five years as the Vice President of a
specialty packaging company.

Upon retiring to Hermann, Missouri in early
2002, I again resumed my interest in fibers, this time concentrating on small
scale fiber vessels. My work has been
