To Understanding the Vineyard it is helpful to understand the following:
1. Our Genetic Code - the ten ministries we believe are essential to be a
healthy church.
2. Our Values of how we want ministry to occur.
We desire to be “naturally supernatural” like the gospels picture Jesus
ministering to people.
3. The Radical Middle - We describe ourselves as being in the middle
between conservative evangelicals on one hand and pentecostals
on the other. We want to receive and
include the best of both these groups and yet leave behind is unhelpful. “Take
the best and go.”
4. Our Statement of Faith - which is a conservative evangelical faith, yet
believes that all the gifts of the Spirit mentioned in the Bible are for today.
