Worker’s Memorial Day

April 28, 2005

We fold our hands and bow our heads;
As these words are read.
To honor those we loved so dear;
This is what has brought us here.

To remember those that we love;
Bless them O God above.
Let them know that we care;
In memories that we share.

Many days of heart felt pain;
Though they did not die in vain.
Their lives are what they give;
So we’ll be safe as we work and live.

Sons and daughters mom and dad;
Thankful for the time we had.
They’re always in our heart;
Never meant to be apart.

So with a smile on your face;
Please enjoy this beautiful place.
Join with me while I say;
God be with you on this day.
