Here is a 22 pound Chinook taken off Kewaunee, WI in June, 1998 and a 17 pound chinook taken off Algoma, WI in July, 1999 aboard "Fishin' Chips"

My personal best, a 28 pound Chinook taken off Algoma, WI in August, 1999 on "Fishin' Chips" and Dale S. with a 17 pound Brown taken the same day.

Kelly B. with a 9 1/2 lb. coho off Algoma (Aug 99) and Ken W. with an 11 lb. rainbow off Algoma (Jul 99)

A Double on bow's, a shaker and a nice 6 1/2 pounder - August, 1999

June 29, 2000 turned out to be a truly awesome day to be fishin' Lake Michigan. Joe F., his son Zach, Bob V. and I went 13 for 15 that morning fishing 90 to 140 feet of water. Here are some shots of the fish and the fishermen.

Veronica "Ronnie" K. with a really nice 20+ pound King Salmon taken off Algoma in August 2000

A crew of us went over for a three day fishing trip in June 2001. Not a lot fish got caught, but we had a good time.

Kelly B. and his family joined Fishin' Chips over the 2001 July fourth holiday and everybody caught fish!!

Captain Al "Fishin' Chips" at play.

We caught this trophy 22 inch Lamprey eel on one of our trips

My son Chris joined me in August 2001 and had his first Lake Michigan experience.

I even managed to land one.

Photos from a mid-June 2002 outing with Ken and Duane.

In late June, 2002 Joe and Zach came along.

In Late July, 2002 we found some bigger fish, including a 25 pound King.

In August Kelly picked up this nice 12 pound Rainbow. The fish had a clipped anipose fin and the DNR Creel Clerk on shore kept the head to recover the embedded tag.

Only two trips in 2003 and forgot the camera on the first one. On August 30 with Bob and Duane on board Fishin' Chips. We started slow but got into some big fish finally. We all landed 20+ pound fish plus we picked up a few smaller ones. A great trip to end the season on.

We only made two trips again during 2004 but managed to get some fish including this nice chinook taken in July 2004.

Duane and Ken joined me in August 2004 and we captured more of the silver fish.

MORE TO COME NEXT SEASON
