These Pictures were taken
near Jackson Hot Springs, Montana at 7600 feet above sea level on
the
27th of November 1999.
Five point Bull Elk shot by Jason Skalsky (left picture) on the evening
of the 26th of Nov. 1999.
Jason was accompanied by his Dad,
Dan Skalsky, (right picture). And we had some FUN!!!!!!!!
The pictures below show how far we had to drag the Elk out on the 27th,
about 2 miles. The snow where we left
the Elk covered up for the night was about 2 feet in depth. Notice
the rut left in the snow after dragging the 1st half of the Elk through
it.
