After  W.W.II  rubber tires were available.  Large straw pile generated from threshing.
 
 

Hauling straw away 1                  Loading Manure Spreader
The straw had to be hauled away and spread on the fields after the threshing was done. The right
picture shows my Uncle Vernon loading a "manure " spreader.
