Statue Cleaning and Restoration The statue of Masaryk was cleaned and restored in 2001. The Czech Cultural Garden Association has applied for a grant from the Foreign Ministry of the Czech Republic for the purpose of preserving Czech culture, heritage, and monuments. The grant was applied for in 2003. We hope to find out that we were successful and can commence the work in 2004. Matching funds of 20% are required. |

One World Day Celebration
This festival is an annual event held the second Sunday in September. The location changes from garden to garden, with all gardens participating. It is symbolic of the unity of all nations as demonstrated by the American way of life.
October 28 Remembrance
This annual event in the Czech Garden commemorates the founding of the first Czechoslovak Republic. Playing of national anthems and laying of a wreath is the program for this remembrance. The various Czech organization in Cleveland are represented.
